The Seed speaks of beginnings, of potential held in quiet form.
Cast in simple balance, it suggests both the organic and the human, a shape caught between emergence and stillness. The work reflects on the idea that every transformation begins unseen, beneath the surface, before it finds its expression in light and space.
The sculpture’s form is deliberately open to interpretation: it might be a vessel, a gesture, a fragment of the body, or an echo of the landscape itself. What matters is the sense of containment, of life and energy waiting to unfold.
Placed in public space, The Seed becomes a point of focus, a reminder of growth and renewal. It carries forward my belief that sculpture creates places: that even the smallest, most elemental form can change how we inhabit the world around us, encouraging pause, attention, and the recognition of potential in all things.
