Spirit of Sport
An ambitious and dramatic sculpture concept. The figure stands 20m tall and embodies the aspirations and ambitions of people in sport, business, the arts and all walks of life. Proposed to be fabricated in steel and located on a major roundabout. The figure reaches out for a ball which radiates a shimmering light, and the structure has vibrant specialist lighting.
The sculpture was highly acclaimed and came second in a competition of 200 artists, as part of the government funded Economic Development Zone |
